Crisp Goat Cheese And Turkish Coffee Canapes


300 gr. goat cheese
Peel of 1 lemon finely grated
Oregano leaves from 2 stalks of mountain oregano
2 spoonfuls honey
1 small bottle sparkling spring water
1 spoonful Turkish coffee
90 gr. flour
10 slices baguette (1 cm thick)

Knead together the cheese, lemon peel, oregano and honey.
Toast the baguette slices in the oven and spread the cheese mixture on each piece.
Mix the flour and coffee and add the spring water gradually.
Heat some oil in a fryer and when very hot add the floury water drop by drop and fry until it is a golden color. Remove from heat and sprinkle it over the cheese mixture.
